The Swansea Athletic Booster Club was founded to provide funds that support all sports offered at Sandhills Middle School and Swansea High School. The school district provides a budget for the athletic department to use for athletic opportunities for our student-athletes. The participation fee required for each sport is primarily used by the athletic department to offset operational costs such as insurance. Money taken up at sporting events helps to pay for referees and other stadium personnel and security. That leaves us, the booster club to help provide funds for other enhancements needed to run a quality athletic program.

We annually hold fundraisers, such as a golf tournament and beauty pageant, to help raise money for items our teams need. We also award an annual scholarship, the “Doug Bennett Scholarship” which helps a deserving two-letter athlete who has chosen to further their education.
